Eat Up
I got a fresh blurb in from the illustrious Michael J. Seidlinger. August couldn’t come soon enough.
"Deadly secrets, psychedelic drugs, sex magic... Wamack knows a thing or two about hard times and in this novella, you see life itself staring back at you, brandishing your worst fears, daring you to turn the page. I've been following Grant Wamack's work for a long time and God's Leftovers is his calling card, proving he's at the peak of his powers."
—Michael J. Seidlinger, author of Anybody Home?
The image above is a sticker people will get if they buy a signed copy from me. No one has seen this on the internet yet so this is some really exclusive shit. Here’s another sticker that people would get along with a bookmark all designed by the uber talented Piper Ferrari.
In other news, Black Gypsies is moving to the next stage and it looks like it’s slated for an August release as well. So two books will be dropping and I’m plan to whip up some book trailers, promo art, etc. Might even brush off my mic and record an EP under the guise of the rapper Big Redd who plays a prominent role in God’s Leftovers.
If I enjoy recording this EP, I’m considering coming out of rap retirement more so for fun and getting back to myself. Some of these tracks may never see the light of day while others may remain in the vault.
Either way, I’ll be dropping Mirage Season under the moniker of Jacque Mirage sometime this summer. Shoutout to Mike Kleine for the cover art. I have a handful of older tracks that I feel like are worthwhile and will drop when it’s hot as hell outside. For various reasons, I don’t feel like rapping under GS anymore.
In other news, I submitted a couple short stories and I’ve been revising Project Hum and taking notes for another project. Also, I have some loose ideas for a wild sequel & a prequel to God’s Leftover’s focusing on Big Redd. There’s a cool idea for a sequel to Black Gypsies as well. This all depends on how passionate I feel about these and what the reception is like to these books.

I’ve been listening to this Sleepy Hallow single all week long. Catchy ear worth with a dope sampled hook from 347aidan. Hallow has a formula and it’s working.
Groove…soul…funk…courtesy of the legendary producer himself Danger Mouse. Black Thought raps effortlessly and shows exactly why the elder statesman should be on your top 10 lyricists list if he isn’t there already.
“I don’t belong on Earth…” beautiful video…raw NY rap centering on the topic of home.
Have I been sleeping on Lute? He raps over this grimy beat with conviction and DJ Drama’s adlibs elevate this track to the next level. Dreamville’s onto something…
Mercury’s gone direct so we’re finally free of that weight. Saturn’s going retrograde until October so make sure you’re focused on putting in the work, cultivating self-discipline and being a good person. Keep your head up and remember we got the juice…
