We’re floating through the first week of Mercury Retrograde so make sure you don’t start anything new, be clear in your communication, expect delays, and don’t sign any contracts. But then again, you have free-will so do what thou wilt.
An interview with Tom Brady emerged on twitter where he causally talks about his astrological wifey Gisele Bundchen who happens to be a witch. She sets up personal altars for every game, gives him protection stones, and predicts outcomes pretty frequently.
After seeing this, I though it was no surprise Brady is one of the G.O.A.T.S. in American football. People who know me, know I tend to gravitate towards spiritual women, and a good amount of women I’ve dated label themselves as witches and practice magic on a regular basis.
I’ve learned a lot from witches especially the art of timing. Once you pay attention to the launch of new businesses and new products, it makes sense why certain things fail to pop or last over the long-term. Recently, I was writing like a madman trying to beat the astrological clock when it came to Project Bullet Baby. I finished the novella Sunday night and submitted it to the publisher with 10 minutes to spare. It was stressful, but I’m proud of myself for reaching my goal.
It may be out there, kooky, or even a little crazy, but this mystical path works for me. Now, that we’re in the thick of Mercury Retrograde, I’m revising a short story collection for a mystery publisher I never worked with before. This is the perfect time for all of those words with re-like reevaluation, reflection, reorganization, etc. It’ll be my first time collecting some of my shorts over the last 13 years including some unpublished pieces as well. Let’s call it Project Hum. If I’m lucky, you’ll be seeing this and Project Bullet Baby in 2023.
I still need to finish one more scene in Black Gypsies before turning it in to the publisher. I had a hard time figuring out how to make this scene work without it being forced. I’ve been thinking about this shit this entire week while everything else flowed smoothly edit-wise. The solution came to me last night and I should be able to knock it out this weekend and be done with this once and for all.
If you’re single & fearless, find you a witch.

Boogie’s consistency on his recent singles are impressive. It’s almost as if he climbed into my psyche and pulled out pieces of my paranoia and innermost thoughts. That how deeply this cut resonates with me.
“Know my heart could turn to rock so I don't take that shit for granted/granite…”
Lil Cherry’s videos are an out of body experience. I watched a recent one where the music was kind of bad, but the video itself was so compelling I went down the rabbit hole. Based aesthetics, cyberpunk drapings, a surrealist mukbang, etc. Goldbuuda is like a Korean Riff Raff with iced out eyepatch and his shark grill. I think Lil Cherry may just have become my favorite Korean rapper.
This is my introduction to Long Beach native $tupid Young, and ole boy slaughters this beat.
Memphis rapper Big Glo came out with a bonafide hit last month. Saweetie’s supposed to be hopping on the remix. Lesgooooooo…
Until next time…
These keep getting more and more interesting!! Love these!
