We’re moving into new territory, especially fitting since Mercury Retrograde is over. People in my personal circle know I’ve been wanting to expand for a long time, but I had to work through some limiting beliefs first. I’ve been playing second fiddle in other people’s lives in a variety of ways. This played out in certain friendships, romance, school, the military, etc.
I finally feel comfortable stepping out on my own. I’ve always thought of myself as a B mic on podcasts and shows. But you know what? Fuck that, I’m A mic. That’s the energy we’re bringing this year.
The Knight of Cups energy is something I’ve started embodying more and more without truly realizing it. New ways of self-expression, wearing your heart on your sleeve, being more emotionally open…
I am a private person, but I realized you guys only get to experience a fraction of my personality through this newsletter and through my writing. So expect more video content in the future. I forgot how fun it is editing videos and creating multimedia pieces. So here I am stepping into relatively new territory (even though I used to shoot and edit video in the Navy).
Here’s an exclusive VLOG where you can watch me and my friend talk about my infamous shroom experience from last year. This was one of my most popular posts which you can read here. And yes, I’m one of the few people who decide to wear Off-White to go tripping in the wilderness. RIP Virgil Abloh.
We made it into Barnes & Noble in Kentucky. Sometimes being a writer is surreal and gratifying. This is one of those moments. I used to spend hours browsing the horror shelves in Barnes & Noble back in the day so it’s pretty cool seeing my book here and front-facing.

Copies of the Liminal_ TTRPG are making it out to people. This is pretty cool since I was one of the architects brought in to create some of the guest rooms. Long-time readers of this newsletter know I’m a huge fan of liminal spaces, particularly The Backrooms universe so it’s trippy to know people are playing this somewhere in the world.

I had the pleasure of being a guest on episode 182 of the Ghoulish podcast hosted by Max Booth. I talk about UFO sightings, sex magic, and curses on this episode. Listen here.
I’m hot in these podcast streets. I linked up with my BRB brothers J. David Osborne and David Simmons on Agitator Z to help fill in for Kelby since he’s a super papa now. In order to listen, you have to subscribe to the Agitator Patreon because we talk shit and drop gems. I’m smoking on Maven Indica and catch on fire as you can see below.
On the writing front, I had a slow start but things are moving forward in a positive direction and I caught my flow. The good thing about having a group chat comprised of writers is the endless motivation, inspiration, and friendly sense of competition. David Simmons was talking about opening lines and evoking Lil Wayne circa 2005. This lit a fire in me. I scrapped part of a short story and wrote something four times as good. Yes four times as good. I can measure these types of things.
I made some progress on Project Melancholy, finished a brand new short story, and even wrote a fresh chapter for Project Blacker Gypsies.
Currently Watching: Moon Knight & Ozark Season 1 & Love, Death & Robots Season 3 & Alice in Borderland Season 3 & Yellowjackets
I finished Alice in Borderland and it’s so damn good. Blows Squid Games out of the water. I like it so much I’m thinking about reading the manga Retry so I can see how this storyline continues.

Currently Reading: God Damn Chainsaw Murderer by Sean M. Thompson & Blame! by Tsutomu Nihei & Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes & Gleipnir by Sun Takeda & Moonfellows by Danger Slater
I finally finished Nudes by Elle Nash. It’s raw, vulnerable, and intimate. Nash has a knack for capturing the full emotional spectrum embedded in the little moments in life. Definitely one of the best books I ever read and there a flashes of genius in these pages.
Currently Smoking: Maven Genetics Peach Creme Gelato
Currently Listening: Black Tapes Podcast & The Danny Brown Podcast
The Wave God aka Biggaveli aka the Silver Surfer is finally getting out of jail this year. It’s been a long time coming and this new single feels like rays of sunshine and celebration.
This is a powerful piece of pop art by Miley Cyrus. Caught me off guard. I thought it was going to be a cookie cutter record, but this is sonic liberation and the divine feminine rising to the surface. Bravo.
Feel good, woozy production creates the perfect backdrop so Robb Bank$ can brag about his exotic assortment of bitches. Tony Shhnow adds a magic touch. Might need a tape from these two, soon.
“Like I don’t respond on the net, catch me in person, get put your neck…”
This might sound blasphemous, but I prefer Rella Gz over Ice Spice. There’s something special about aggressive NY women telling you to suck their dick over drill production. Let’s gooooooo.
Until next time…
